POSSESSIVE PRONOUNS
Like the Possessive Adjectives, the Possessive pronouns indicate that something or someone belongs to somebody.
Whose is this bag?
That bag is mine.

My cap is blue. Yours is black.

The Possessive Pronoun goes in the beginning of a sentence as a noun, or after the verb as an object.
Do you know where my book is?
Yours is on the shelf. (noun)

I think that doll is hers. (object)
